Golden Days was founded on the belief that genuine human connection is the most powerful thing we can offer a Senior.
We visit Seniors in residential aged care facilities and private homes across Canberra, building real relationships over time. We learn their history and the stories that matter to them, share a cup of tea or a walk in the garden and keep families updated after every visit. It is genuine, unhurried company, the kind that makes ordinary days feel a little brighter.
For seniors making the transition to Aged Care living, our Golden Welcome Program offers something rare, an unbiased friend by
their side during those first difficult weeks.
We visit regularly to help new residents settle in, learn their way around, meet other residents and feel comfortable in their new home. It is genuine companionship at exactly the moment it is needed most — not a service rostered on by the facility, but a familiar, friendly face who is entirely theirs.
We also offer social outings across Canberra and birthday vouchers which make a meaningful gifts for a loved ones.
